Staff Bios
R.Z. McLees, M.D.
Following graduation from the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Mc Lees completed his internship at Madigan
Army Medical Center prior to serving as Chief of OB/GYN at Dewitt Army Hospital. His areas of expertise include urology, reproductive
health, menopausal syndrome and endocrinology. He has always taken a special interest in Gynecology and Infertility. He has
completed advanced training in In-Vitro Fertilization and Reproductive Endocrinology. Drs. Mc Lees and Robinette established
GYFT Clinic, PLLC in 1986 with an emphasis on providing "all-inclusive gynecology and infertility services". Dr. Mc Lees has
been executive director of the clinic since its inception. He served as the Director of Fertility Services for Puget Sound
Hospital for 14 years before GYFT moved to its current location. He is a member of the American Fertility Society and the
Royal Society of Medicine.

Joseph Robinette, M.D
Graduated from the University of Iowa school of
Medicine. He served his internship at Tripler Medical Center and completed his residency program at Madigan Army Medical School
in 1978. He has been practicing in Tacoma since 1978, devoting his studies to Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility. Dr.
Robinette has received extensive training in Reproductive Endocrinology, In-Vitro Fertilization, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection,
and microsurgery. Dr. Robinette is the Director of Reproductive Assays Laboratory and is responsible for the overall performance
of the embryology and andrology programs including In-Vitro Fertilization and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection.
He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology,
and the Gynecological Laser Society. He is also a consultant and frequent presenter for Resolve, the patient support group
for infertility.

Luis A. Murrain, D.O.
A graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic
Medicine, Dr. Murrain completed his internship at Genesys Regional Medical Center and his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
at Summa Health Systems - Akron City Hospital. After serving as chief resident, he went on to further his training by
completing a fellowship in Reproductive Genetics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New
York. He has received extensive training in the genetics of infertility as well as In-Vitro Fertilization, Intracytoplasmic
Sperm Injection and Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis. He currently holds faculty positions at both Northeastern Ohio
University College of Medicine and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics
and Gynecology, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the American College of Medical Genetics, and the American
Society of Human Genetics.

Laboratory Staff
Jeff Robinette, B.S., M.B.A.
Jeff received his bachelors and masters degrees
from the University of Washington. Under the tutelage of some of the pioneers in Pacific Northwest infertility research from
the U.W. and Oregon Health Sciences University, Jeff became renowned in the reproductive laboratory community for his technical
mastery of micromanipulation, embryology and andrology. GYFT was fortunate to convince Jeff to come join his father’s
practice in 1994, acquiring him from a successful Bellevue infertility practice that he had helped establish. As a member
of the assisted reproductive technologies northwest group and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Jeff communicates
regularly with his professional contacts across the country to keep abreast of new technologies, exchange information, and
continuously seek opportunities to learn. Jeff's experience, education and unwavering desire to be the best at what he does
ensures our patients the highest quality laboratory services available anywhere.

Nursing Staff
Nursing staff members at GYFT Clinic bring years
of gynecology, obstetrics, and infertility nursing experience to our practice. This dynamic team includes several members
certified as specialists in reproductive endocrinology and infertility nursing; our patient care coordinators are: Bette,
Terri, Charlene, Julie, Tina and Lisa.
Clinic nurses take an active part in coordinating
your care as prescribed by your GYFT Physician, including administering testing and treatment. Nurses provide learning opportunities
related to your care, perform assessment, planning, and implementing of treatment, as well as evaluating your progress. Current
academic knowledge, continuing education and experience enable our nurses to take an expanded and vital role in the GYFT Fertility
Practice.
