women's health

As a woman, your health is important to all aspects of your life. How you eat, exercise and rest can all affect your well-being. At Gyft Clinic, we will care and treat for the whole woman. Your doctor will want to know how you're taking care of yourself. Not only do we want you to conceive a child, but for you to maintain your health before and after pregnancy. During initial counseling with your doctor, they'll ask about your health. Are you getting enough rest and exercise? How is your stress level and diet? We can help guide you in these areas to improve your overall health and hence, your ability to achieve and maintain a healthy pregnancy.

Our goal isn't to be invasive. Maintaining good women's health can increase how long you live and, overall, improve your reproductive potential. We can provide smart ways to eat, exercise and manage your stress. Improve your health with help from Gyft Clinic.

Women's Health and Fertility

How does health affect your fertility? Although beneficial in nearly all facets of one's life, having excellent health doesn't guarantee having a child. A woman's age, for example, plays a major role. Starting at age 27, women will begin to have a smaller chance of getting pregnant as each subsequent year passes due to a gradual decline in the quality of a woman's eggs as she ages. Infertility can involve other factors besides overall health as well. These may include the quality of the male partner's sperm or the quality of your fallopian tubes, uterus and/or endocrine system. At Gyft Clinic, a women's health refers to more than just "being in shape." We also look at the health of you and your partner's entire reproductive system.

For most, achieving a pregnancy requires that your reproductive system be working properly. Thus, an early and accurate diagnosis of the quality of your reproductive system will help dictate the method of treatment your doctor will recommend. We may check for tubal factors, hormone function, pelvic and uterine health, chemical balance and/or sperm quality to help determine the most efficacious form of treatment for your particular situation with the goal of helping you increase your chances of having a child. Ask your Gyft Clinic doctor about your health and fertility potential.
